口算可以提高分析能力，对学生的数学学习产生积极影响,同时也有助于增强他们对数学学习的信心。为促进学生的口算才能，我们举办了小学部数学口算比赛。通过比赛，我们向学生展示了数学的魅力和智慧，帮助他们提高对数学学习的专注度和兴趣。

Oral calculation sharpens analytical ability and has positive impact on children, it also can enhance their confidence in learning mathematics. For promoting students' oral calculation ability, we held the primary oral calculation contest. By holding this competition, we showed the charm and wisdom of mathematics to the students, helped them to improve concentration and their interests in mathematics. 

为了促进汉字学习，让学生感受汉字之美，感受中国文化的魅力，我们举办了小学部书法比赛。希望通过这项比赛，激发学生学习汉语的兴趣，丰富他们的课外文化生活，鼓励学生发现中国文化之美。

For the purpose of promoting the learning of Chinese characters, letting students enjoy the beauty of Chinese calligraphy and feel the charm of profound Chinese culture, we held the primary Chinese calligraphy competition. We hoped that the contest can stimulate students’ interests in learning Chinese, enrich their extracurricular cultural life and encourage them to discover the beauty of Chinese culture.
